The Jersey City Police Superior Officers Association (JCPSOA) proudly represents the Sergeants, Lieutenants, and Captains of the Jersey City Police Department. Our members are the leaders responsible for supervising police operations, mentoring officers, making critical decisions during emergencies, and ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability are upheld throughout the department.

Our mission is to support the supervisors who lead our police force while strengthening the partnership between law enforcement and the community we proudly serve. We believe that public safety is one of the most essential responsibilities of government and that every resident deserves a safe neighborhood, responsive police services, and leaders who are committed to fairness, transparency, and respect.

Every day, our members oversee patrol operations, criminal investigations, emergency response, specialized units, and community policing initiatives. They are entrusted with protecting lives, safeguarding constitutional rights, and ensuring that every officer under their command performs with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

The JCPSOA is committed to advocating for the tools, staffing, training, and resources necessary for our supervisors to lead effectively in an increasingly complex public safety environment. We also work to protect the professional rights and well-being of our members, recognizing that strong leadership and healthy, well-supported supervisors are essential to maintaining a safe and effective police department.
